Sanya Richards smashes 200 and 400
meter records: 23.22 and 52.10 !!!

The hottest female sprinter in the country, St. Aquinas FL senior Sanya Richards, took an incredible 1.04 second off the national 400 meter record and also broke the 200 meter record for the second straight day at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships in New York. The Texas-bound sprinter's 400 meter time was faster than the NCAA champion. A Jamaican national, Sanya has applied for US citizenship.

Red Bank NJ and Bronxville NY both beat
the 10-day-old DMR record of Boys and Girls NY.
Red Bank 11:49.34, Bronxville 11:49.61.
That makes three teams this season beating the record
of Mepham Bellmore NY (11:52.8) which had stood since 1984.
