This event was an all-Maryland show. Eleanor Roosevelt girls lived
up to their US#1 ranking with a routine 1:41.00 win, nearly 3 seconds
slower than their New York Armory best. Oxon Hill MD boys 1:29.71
got the better of a hard fought battle over PG County rival Eleanor
Roosevelt (1:30.11), which led the country with its New York Armory
time of 1:28.31 until Deep Creek VA set a new national record of
1:27.09 at NSI in New York this weekend. Paul Young's 21.8 third
leg put Oxon Hill on top.
