country this season; Cherokee NJ sr Marc Pelerin, 3rd
best indoor miler this year;
and Brewster NY sr Frank Macreery, always a contender
at the Armory.

competition gradually fell away. Splits: 2:10, 2:18, 2:15, and
2:20.
