Eastern States Championships

2-Mile Run

Boys - Girls

Boys

It was quickly a 3-man race between Sayville NY jr Brian Dalpiaz, leading 2-miler in the
country this season; Cherokee NJ sr Marc Pelerin, 3rd best indoor miler this year;
and Brewster NY sr Frank Macreery, always a contender at the Armory.
Dalpiaz made all the pace and the competition gradually fell away. Splits: 2:10, 2:18, 2:15, and 2:20.
