Which state was best at AOC?

California girls,
New Jersey boys repeat

Boys - Girls

by John Dye

California girls rode 40 points from Chaunte Howard and her J. W. North, Riverside team to victory in unofficial team scoring over New York, 124-101. On the boys side, New Jersey beat Texas, 129-93.

DyeStat scored the meet to eight places 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. Scoring was limited to National Federation events, close cousins (mile, 2-mile, and 400H), and events that draw from standard skills (SMR and DMR).

It was the second straight year for the California girls and New Jersey boys to win DyeStat's unofficial team title at the national meet.
