Transportation to Richmond

Message from the AOC meet management:

As a courtesy, meet management will be supplying transportation to athletes to the USATF Junior Championships in Richmond, Virginia on Friday and Saturday evenings, June 15 and 16, 2001. There will be no return service. (Our schedule has been rearranged [as compared to that of 2000] to allow for maximum "doubling" at both meets, with the assumption that certain athletes would be traveling to Raleigh for Friday or Saturday competition and returning home from Richmond after competing on Saturday or Sunday.)

Transportation will leave directly from the Paul Derr track at midnight on Friday, June 15, and at 11:00pm on Saturday, June 16. The travel time is approximately three hours. Athletes will be left at the USATF Junior Meet Headquarters Hotel, the Holiday Inn Central (3207 North Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23230; 804.359.9441).

There is no charge for competing athletes. There is a $20.00 charge for all others.
