Poly Long Beach CA sr Candice Baucham continues her great year in triple jump. She was second in the National Scholastic Indoor Championship at New York at 41-4. She won at Arcadia 2 weeks ago with 42-3.5. Today, she got another PR with a leap of 42-2 +0.4. Baucham is showing great consistency and hardly ever fouls. For most of the day, she was the only girl over 12 meters and she won by 2.5 feet. As usual, she intersperses jumps with running relay legs for Poly's great baton squads.
