End lap 1: The order is established at the outset as Maria Cicero and Erika Odlaug are 1-2 after one lap in 72 seconds, with Monique Ortega third.	End lap 2: It is down to a 2-girl race after 800 meters in 2:28.

Taking the lead on lap 7, Odlaug has plenty left starting the bell lap. Cicero's left calf started hurting during the race and she slowed down considerably after yielding the lead. The trainer said it was just spasms, but Cicero was limping badly after the race and scratched from the mile.	Odlaug got great encouragement from her mother
Odlaug celebrates a 16-second PR and her first win over Cicero, whom she faces often back home in Illinois, with a strong finishing kick. "I don't know where that came from," Odlaug said.
