If this past weekend was not enough to change the
public opinon regarding CBA and a possible MOC crown,
that I don't know what will. There were a lot of
movement on the Top Ten list after the Shore Coaches
Invitational this weekend. Here is how it shapes up:

Old Bridge - put on a clinic having their top 4
runners come in around 16:36-16:47 with their 5th man
not far behind in 17:04. Dominant.

Haddonfield - moves up to #2 after an incredible
performance in the VAR E race. Platt, Stiles and
Boneete combined for the best front three in the
state. Their 4th and 5th runner, sophmores Vitez and
Goldberg, ran 17:11 and 17:12. They handled the meet
well being so young and could make the MOC interesting
for Old Bridge if they could drop to 17:00 or lower.

Hunterdon Central - WOW! A win over Cherokee is huge
for this squad. Their front two ran incredible with
Fox leading the way in 16:43. Their pack was not as
close as I thought it could have been but none the
less a great performance.

Cherokee - Pelerin and Krieger did all they could but
in the end it was not enough. With Mueller still
ailing Cherokee has some kinks to work out. They are
still in need of a true 4th and 5th man. If Cherokee
can not find guys to run around the mid 17's by MOC
this season could be let down for coach Shaklee.

CBA - went 16:50 thru 17:50 for their top 5. Granted
they won the VAR B competition but not in impressive
fashion. 1 min is too large a gap, especially when
the times are not quick. Could this be the end
of dynasty?

Mainland- Front 4 ran incredible 16:58-17:09, however,
their 5th man was a little off the pace. I was going
to put them and TRN ahead of CBA but you never know
what Heath has up his sleeve. But this is not a team
to be taken lightly and have more punch than their #8
ranking shows.

Paul VI - solid pack running. There was a 29 second
gap between the 1st and 4th runner. Their 5th man
needs to close the gap on the main pack if they want
to have continued success.

Red Bank - nice performances from Dennis and Langley
but the rest of the team needs to follow their
leadership.
