Massachusetts Cross Country 2001

The Klim Poll #3 - 9/28

by Jake Klim

Division One - Division Two

A super fast exchange student from Sweden? Well I don't know much about him but I hear he runs 1:57 and that he runs with a Wellsley singlet, but what is his name and do we have any proof? Vitale beats Abdi, McArdle beats Vitale, Monohan beats McArdle, then Lacey beats Monohan! OA loses to Franklin without the help of Santoro and Martes!!! It was OA's first loss after 48 consecutive victories. Lowell looks extremely fast but not as fast as Amherst. The battle between them and the Prep will be one to remember come November. Washburn is the victor at the Amherst Invite on a somewhat wet/muddy course, teammate Marcus only a second behind, Lacey not too far back either. Critzer handles Vercollone in a duel. Glew runs fastest 5k of the fall thus far ~ 16:00. Tenerowicz and Dragon switch positions after Dragon slip into the 17:00s and Tenerowicz runs 16:24. The Bay State Invite is October 6th, we will find out who is on top then.
Keep sending me stats and your picks; the season is getting hot.
