DyeStat Elite as of April 615th seasonal rankings add 400 marks to the lists - last chance to send performances for 2001 indoor seasonDetailed Rankings 4/6
by John Dye These lists have 400 more performances ranked since the last
list March 16 for a total of 4,300 performances. This is the 15th and next
to last rankings of the 2001 indoor season. The rankings come from
7,900 perfornaces in the database (only the best mark for an athlete in each
event is ranked) from 500 meets. They include all meet results posted on
DyeStat and all verified performances sent by email. Errors and omissions
should be sent to [email protected]
immediately. The biggest change in the rankings is from the Illinois Top Times meet, the unofficial state indoor championships. York Elmhurst sr Maria Cicero took the lead in girls 2-mile with a sparkling 10:21.25c performance. Megan Reese high jumped 5-9.5, good for the 2nd national ranking for the season. Listings give Event, Mark, Performance Notes, Athlete name-class-school, Meet date-name-state and position finished, and Meeet Notes. Abbreviations in notes: h=handheld, c=converted to Mile or 2Mile equivalent, and p=time from preliminary round. Handheld times are adjusted to FAT equivalents by adding 0.24 for races up to 200 meters and 0.14 for 300 and 400 meters. Handheld times are listed after FAT times. If an athlete whose best time is handheld also has a qualifying FAT time, it is also listed. Races at 1600 and 3200 meters are converted to Mile and 2Mile equivalents by adding the National Federation standard adjustment of 1.6 seconds for 1600 meters and 3.4 seconds for 3200 meters.
