This is the 9th list of the 2001 indoor season.  The ranked performances passed 2,000 this week, with four new national leaders.  We now have 2,963 DyeStat Elite marks from 288 meets in the database for the 2001 indoor season (only the best mark for an athlete is ranked).

New national leaders this week:

Boys PV: Tommy Skipper OR 16-0 (1st over 16')
Girls 300: Tiondra Ponteen NY 38.89
Girls Mile: Sara Bei CA 4:57.1
Girls 2Mile: Erin Donohue NJ 10:42.3c
Girls LJ: Cassandra Richards PA 19-1.5 (1st over 19')

The DyeStat Elite database includes all performances received that beat the 2001 indoor cutoffs for top 100 national rankings.

To get performances included in the DyeStat Elite follow the procedures on the DyeStat web page, How to Get Ranked.

Listings give Event, Mark, Performance Notes, Athlete name-class-school, Meet date-name-state and position finished, and Meeet Notes.  Abbreviations in notes:   h=handheld, c=converted to Mile or 2Mile equivalent, and p=time from preliminary round.  Handheld times are adjusted to FAT equivalents by adding 0.24 for races up to 200 meters and 0.14 for 300 and 400 meters.  Handheld times are listed after FAT times.  If an athlete whose best time is handheld also has a qualifying FAT time, it is also listed.  Races at 1600 and 3200 meters are converted to Mile and 2Mile equivalents by adding the National Federation standard adjustment of 1.6 seconds for 1600 meters and 3.4 seconds for 3200 meters.
