Massachusetts boys and girls battered the course record all day at Tufts University's "The Farm" course. Lexington jr Natasha Roetter 18:08 took 50 seconds off the girls record. Mohawk Trail sr Neal Graves 15:41.5 beat the old boys record by 22 seconds and Austin Prep sr Matt Pimentel by 4 seconds, in leading Mohawk Trail 58 to the Division 2 title. In all, nine runners beat the old course records.
