Christian Brothers Academy edges Cherokee boys, 61-69. Just as in
Cherokee's earlier win over CBA, the tussle went down to the fifth
runner. Cherokee led 33-36 after the first 31 runners contained four
each from the two schools. But CBA's fifth, Jeffrey Peterson, came
in 49th overall and 25th in the scoring, gaining 11 points over Cherokee's
fifth. The scoring lines:

Eastern sr Mike Myers won the boys race in 15:50.
