Mountain View boys, Bingham girls win again;
defending champs Zeigle, Ko upended

US#1boys Mountain View wins fourth straight 5A championship behind the 1-2 punch of seniors Chandler Goodwin and Dustin Bybee, who had the day's best times, 15:36 and 15:43. Mountain View had 47 points to 75 each for Bingham and Davis.
US#4 girls Bingham 48 wins third straight 5A championship with a 7-point margin over rival Mountain View, which had been running dead even with Bingham in earlier meets. Laura and Jackie Zeigle's 2-3 finish was enough of an edge for Bingham.
Two defending champions were toppled. In 5A girls, Amber Harper of Orem used a strong finishing kick to pass Laura Zeigle as the runners entered the stadium for the final 50 meters and won by 7 seconds in 18:10, fastest time of the day. In 4A girls, Kassi Anderson, Provo ran back to her sophomore championship form to win in 18:27, with defending champion Phoebe Ko, of East back in sixth place.
