    Alan Webb VA - In a downpour at Charlotte on a McAlpine course already soaked, Webb took 9 seconds off his course record from 1999, winning the South regional in 14:43.
    Christa Benton FL
    - After blistering the flat Florida courses all season long, Benton had no trouble with soggy McAlpine, winning the South regional in  17:56
