Farrell boys dominate; Moore's TJ Byrnes opens with 16:29 5k win.  
Girls: Megan Proffitt (20:18) leads Tottenville to squeaker over St. John Villa

Sat 9/16 - Franklinville Invitational - Franklinville, NY (s6)
Exciting races from WNY see Nardin Academy girls top Clarence, and Sweet Home boys over Starpoint by virtue of tie-breaking 6th man.  

Sat 9/16 - Chenango Valley McDaniel Inv. - Binghamton
Ithaca sweeps!  Horseheads' Alexis Lake (19:04) and Union-Endicott's Andy Allstadt (15:50) take individual honors.

Sat 9/16 - Ursuline Invitational - Van Cortlandt Park
Bronxville puts 3 under 16 minutes! Catha Mullen - 15:48, Caroline Mullen 15:49, Michelle Rorke 15:49.

Sat 9/16 - CHSAA Practice Meet - Van Cortlandt Park
Regis' Terry Lennon leads the Owls to easy win.  

Sat 9/16 - Suffern Invitational - Bear Mountain
Hosts win Boys A 98-100 over Brewster, whose Frank McCreery won in 15:37 (15:47 for Romaniuk). B race won by Pearl River Soph Brenden Fennell (15:36), team title to Warwick.  Charlie Millioen debuts with 15:26 win leading St. Anthony's to C race romp.
Nicole Boykin wins girls A in 18:38, Bellport gets hardware; Scarsdale find Lindsey Scherf wins in 18:53, Arlington takes title; Missy Jenkins wins C race, as do Warwick girls. 

Sat 9/16 - Jim Smith Invitational - Sunken Meadow SP
Wantagh's Jean Coleman makes statement as only girl under 20 (19:45).  Baldwin's Nicole Yokum takes Senior race (20:25).   Valley Stream's Chris Mammone (16:53) over Syosset's Billy Vasilydas and JFK Bellmore's Elliot Rosenblum, Sachem over Syosset's Seniors.  Brendan Sullivan of Port Jeff takes Junior year race in 17:09.1, Syosset over Northport. 

Sat 9/16 - Johnstown Invitational - Johnstown HS
Impressive 15 point sweeps by both Girls and Boys squads from Saratoga Springs.

Nichole and Jessica Lister take 1-2 for host, but can't stop Section 10's Malone from taking team honors; Pulaski boys pull out exciting win over Watertown.

Corinth's Brianne Capasso 1st in 19:15 (2.9m), Cohoes takes title; Kevin Catlett's 15:59 win gives Albany Academy team crown.

Sat 9/16 - Briarwood Invitational - Phila. PA
New York invades PA: Pearl River Girls win big, as does Chaminade.

Sat 9/16 - Penn State Spiked Shoe Inv-College Park, PA
Girls: Bay Shore takes impressive 5th place of 41 teams, led by Laura Cummings' 11th place finish.  Farmingdale soph Jen Campbell takes 14th in 16:57.
Boys: Bay Shore's Ed Palermo takes 8th in monster race (47 teams, 328 runners).

Sat 9/16 - Essex Invitational - Burlington, VT
Saranac Lake sweeps Boys and Girls Division II titles behind Josh Jabout (16:48) and Hailey Dell (19:43).

Sat 9/16 - Fordham Fiasco #2 - VCP
Cornell men (Max King 25:28 5M), Yale women (Kate & Laura O'Neil 18:01 & 18:02 5K) dominate.  Results to come.

Sat 9/16 - Monmouth Invitational -  Middletown, NJ
Seton Hall Sweeps, young men's squad stays undefeated this fall.

Sat 9/16 - Wagner Invitational - Clove Lakes Park, SI
St. Peter's Men over host; Wagner Women return favor.

Fri 9/15 - Season Opener Invite - Darlington Park, NJ
CBA heads north to open with a bang; take 5 of 1st 6 spots.  Don Bosco 2nd.  Jesse Mizzone (19:17) leads Passaic girls to early season victory.

Fri 9/15 - Sacred Heart Cross Country Relays - VCP
Brearley sets new meet record to win girls relay; Midwood does same in winning boys version, Iona Prep 2nd.  Fieldston wins coed relays.
