Sat 9/9 - East Syracuse-Minoa Invitational- Pine Grove Jr. High (Sec. 3)
Laurel Burdick 18:53.1--nearly 2 minutes in front of 2nd place! F-M takes A, Beaver River B.   Chittenango's edged by F-M, despite top performance from Ryan Wells (16:39). Tim Scarpinato (16:52) leads Beaver River to B title.

Sat 9/9 - Liverpool Invitational- Longbranch Park, NY
Liverpool's Tait Kowalski and Skaneateles' Lia Cross lead their teams to runaway wins.

Sat 9/9 - York Invitational - Mt. Morris, NY (sec. 5)
Shawn Calabrese leads Spencerport to title with 16:00 clocking over 3 miles. Brockport edges Dansville 48-49; top girls time (19:02) logged by Sarah Hildebrand.

Sat 9/9 - Oneonta Invitational- Oneonta HS (sec. 4)
Carly Czaplicki (Maine Endwell 17:24) and Prahlad Genung (Afton 13:53) win in course records; Cobleskill-Richmondville and Oneonta take titles

Sat 9/9 - Susquehanna Valley Inv- Coles Park (sec 4)
Union-Endicott's Mike McPherson and Horseheads' Alexis Lake record early season wins; Union-Endicott and Elmira Southside take Boys and Girls Large Schools titles, Windsor and Groton take small school versions. 

Sat 9/9 - Wizard Invitational - Washingtonville HS (sec. 9)
Michelle Wale 18:30--only girl under 19 min.! Minisink's Adam Hurst is top boy in 16:20. Washingtonville and Cornwall sweep A and C Class races, Burnt Hills Boys and Pearl River Girls are B titlists.
