Alan Webb opens in great form;
Lake Braddock boys beat US#8 Robinson.
Senior Alan Webb of South Lakes, VA ran the 2.98 mile
course in meet record time, 14:25 with second place
going to Senior L.A Snead of Robinson in 15:32. Also
noteworthy was the Lake Braddock Boys beating the
Harrier pre-season 8th place Robinson boys, 70 to 79
points.
In the girls race, soph Kelly Swain of Lake Braddock
won in 17:55 with 2d placce going to Lake Braddock
Senior Heather Mc Carthy in 18:32. The Robinson girls
defeated Lake Braddock 67 to 87 points.
