Waukesha West girls -  best season ever?

Chris Ramsey believes that this year's Waukesha West girls squad is the best team he has ever had, which would be saying something.  He has been coaching for 25 years, and has won 5 state CC titles and and one state track title (last spring).

Waukesha West has everyone back on a two-time defending state championship team and has new runners in the mix too.

Last autumn they dominated the Division 1 (big schools) state meet with 44 points, an 86-point victory margin.  The scoring was 3-4-5-12-20 (14:43,14:43,14:44,15:15,15:28), second-lowest score in Wisconsin's girls Div1 state meet history (25 years) and the second-largest margin of victory.

The top 3 girls went 5-6-7, and the 6th place runner, who ran #1 all year, missed a flag and had to retrace her steps halfway through the race.

Waukesha West is in the same league as Waukesha Catholic Memorial, which ran 9th at the Great American Cross Country Festival in Charlotte NC.
