BOYS
CHAMPIONSHIP
Winner: Dathan Ritzenhein
Repeat champion. Continues 2-year undefeated
string in HS cross country and track. Heat and a slow
first mile (4:47) block record, but still second fastest Foot
Locker final ever.
|
GIRLS
CHAMPIONSHIP
Winner: Sara Bei
Completing her comeback from a disappointing
10th place regional finish a year ago. Third trip to the
finals is a charm with a thrilling stretch win over Anita Siraki.
Several girls complained of heat, including Alicia Craig, who
fell out of contention in the third mile.
