Neisha hammers hot 800

On Friday night, Neisha Bernard-Thomas led Samuel Tilden NY to the 2nd best sprint medley of all time with a 2:07 anchor 800 meters.  In the open 800 Saturday night,  the Grenada native hammered a fine field that included defending champion Alice Schmidt NE and Golden West Invitational champion Heather Hennessey CA to name just two worthy opponents.

Neisha broke on top on the first turn, went through the first lap in 59 seconds, and finished in US#1 2:06.55, immune to the best stretch kicks of five more girls who came in under 2:10.
