Sani Roseby's
Golden Triple
Monterey CA sr Sani Roseby, in only her sixth meet after being
sidelined with a hamstring injury, had a glorious triple. In the
first running event of the evening, Roseby beat more highly touted
hurdlers in a time of 13.77 (A week ago Roseby ran second to Nicole
Denby's Federation record 13.20 in the California State Meet; Denby was
entered in GWI but suffered a muscle injury in the 300 hurdles at Cal
State.)
Then Roseby conquered Texas sophomores Chauntae Bayne and Zenobia Reed
in a 11.76 100 meter dash (w -0.13), and she nailed down the most
outstanding girl athlete award with a 23.8h win at 200 meters.
