The Canby OR senior set a state meet record and closed out his HS career secon1d only to Steve Prefontaine at this distance in Oregon history.��
It was a battle between future Oregon (Logsdon) and Stanford (Klamath
Union sr Ian Dobson)� runners.�� Dobson led the field
through 1200 meters.� But then Logsdon turned in a 63 second lap to
take a decisive lead which he improved to 12 seconds at the finish,
beating the old record by 11 seconds and just 2 seconds short of Steve
Prefontaine's OR record.� Mark
