'99 Champion - Stacy Dragila
Y2K top entries - Dragila, Kellie Suttle, Melissa Mueller, Tracy O'Hara
Look for: Dragila is the marquee name after setting a world record in
Pocatello earlier this year. The favorite for Olympic gold and a former
rodeo competitor, Dragila may just be on track to be the first woman to
top 16-feet. Kellie Suttle won a U.S. outdoor gold in 1998 and is a
threat, as is former Wisconsin-Oshkosh star Melissa Mueller. Mueller set
two national indoor records in '99 and is still developing. O'Hara is the
top collegian this year, hoping to score a big win for UCLA here.
