This meet resumed at the U. of Virginia, the 29th running of this meet, but the first since 1993. Boys highlights: (Girls results have not been made available by the meet management.) Deep Creek HS 85; Jeremy Cadle 1:55.79 and 4:16.27; Austin Smith 9:20.84; B. J. Hancock 14.30; Deep Creek HS 42.19 and 1:28.02; Midlothian HS 10:37.16 DMR; Quentin Mathews 6-9; Anthony Johnson 49-0.75.

The 29th running of the Dogwood Track Classic will take place April 29th 2000
at the University of Virginia's Lannigan Field at 10:30 AM. All standard events including 800 Meter Relay. DMR, and
SMR. The meet was put on hold after the 1993 Outdoor Track season, yet with hard work and great sponsors
like Asics and Sprint Communication the meet will return to the Southern Track circuit. Schools from VA, MD, TN, SC, GA, WV and DC are invited.
