Impressive Performances for both, now on their way to Finals
in Orlando

Amber Trotter and Mom, Mary Newkirk
After missing last year because of illness, Amber roared
back with a vengence to complete this year by winning
the Footlocker West Regional in a class by herself. Mom
was never a runner, but that doesn't stop her from appreciating
Amber's accomplishments. Mom missed the Footlocker finals
last year in Orlando; but not this year. She already has
her ticket.
Coach Tony Casillas and Nurani UT--You couldn't
have seen a happier coach than Coach Casillas, when Nurani
won. He was literally jumping for joy; so happy for Nurani.
No matter what happens in Orlando, Nurani has made his mark
for the year. Out of no where, he won Footlocker West putting
a Cinderalla finish to his personal story. Nurani's Mother
couldn't make the trip but she was back in Salt Lake cheering
none-the-less.
