Throwers CircleOg

Ronda Gullatte GA-Ronda won the Discus, was 7th in the Hammer and 8th in the Shot Put. Ronda is a great opponent with a wonderfully upbeat personality. She will be throwing at Auburn next year.
Michelle Carter TX with Dad, Michael Carter. Michelle won the Shot Put with a throw of 51-01.00. Michelle is developing those genes passed on by Dad. Michael Carter has quite a distinguished athletic history. He was the 1981 HS record holder in shot put. He spent 9 years playing NFL football going to 3 Pro Bowls and 3 Super Bowls.
Michelle Carter TX with Elizabeth Podominick MN-They went against each other in Discus and Shot Put. Elizabeth was 2nd in both, while Michelle was 1st in shot put and 3rd in discus.

Kevin Bookout OK (s) Glenn DiGiorgio NJ These two have been dueling all year for the national lead. At the AOC Kevin won the shot put and Glenn won the discus.
Kevin Bookout OK-Winner of the Shot Put. Kevin is an all around athlete participating in Basketball, Baseball and Track and Field. He will be at Oklahoma U. next year for basketball and track and field.

Glenn DiGiorgio NJ
Glenn won the discus.and was second in the shot put.

Joe Thomas Jr WI with Dad and Coach Eric Thomas. Joe, a junior finished 5th in a tough field.
Brian Robison TX with Dad Jimmy-Brian finished 4th in the Shot Put and 6th in the Discus.

The DigiorgioFamily, a Thrower Dynasty: (From Left) Kevin, Steven, Glenn and Dad, Dominick. Dad's sons all followed him into track and field as throwers. The family hold 8 shot put, medals and 1 discus between Kevin and Glenn. Keeping with the family tradition, Steven, a freshman, has joined his brothers in throwing. Kevin has been coaching Glenn. But now that Glenn has graduated, Kevin can work with Steven while he continues to study at Jersey City State getting ready to teach.
