Uniform Rule Clarification

Clarification on uniform rule pertaining to multiple items under an official school issued uniform. Multiple items worn under a single uniform piece (either jersey OR shorts), must be of a single, solid color. For example, if an athlete wears tights AND compression shorts under the uniform shorts, then both of those items must be the SAME single color. If an athlete wears a single item under the jersey AND a single item under the shorts, then those items each must be a single color, but they do not have to be the same color (this is no change to the existing rule). For example, if an athlete wears a t-shirt under the jersey and compression shorts under the uniform shorts, those items do NOT have to be the same color. They still, however, have to each be a solid color. -ernie lee, Gunn HS
