The Gunn High School Sports Boosters will be conducting
a fundraising auction following a staff-student
basketball game on Saturday, April 22nd. Two items
that may be of interest to the running community are
the opportunity to run with Tim Broe or Alberto Salazar
(transportation included). Details below.

Run with Tim Broe - distance and pace negotiable!
3 time National 5K Champion
11th place in 2004 Olympics
Sub 4 minute miler
Get training tips on the run, and tips on hunting and
fishing.

Run with him in Ann Arbor, MI, Peoria, IL or Palo Alto,
CA

championship event that he is attending

Henry M. Gunn High School is located at 780 Arastradero
Road in Palo Alto, CA. The basketball game will begin
at 5PM with the auction to follow (around 6 or 6:30). 
Since we realize that these items may be of interest to
some who cannot attend the live auction, we will be
accepting �pre-bids� by e-mail throughout the week.
Pre-bids must include:

Item to be bid on (run with Tim Broe or Alberto Salazar)
Bid amount

E-mail all pre-bids or questions to
[email protected]. The highest pre-bid for
each run as of 10PM PDT on Thursday, April 20th will be
the opening bid for the live auction. Obviously, there
is an advantage to be there in person for the live
auction, but this still gives the opportunity to bid on
these items to those who cannot attend. Daily updates
to the pre-bid amount will be available at
www.gunntitans.com.
