Accomplishment: Tyler, who was the Central Coast Section Division II cross-country champion and an All-Mercury News first-team selection in that sport, won the 3,000-meter race at the St. Francis Invitational on Saturday with a time of 10:39.21.

Accomplishment: Khan won the 400- and 300-meter intermediate hurdles at the St. Francis Invitational on Saturday. In the 400, Khan finished in 49.26 seconds, the best time in the CCS this season. In the 300, Khan won in 40.93, the second-best in the section this season. He will attend either Cal or UCLA this fall.
