| | Kennedy Reports - Special Youth Update - Athletes in infrequently-contested events (400H, 1500, 3k and Steeple) need to make sure they have IAAF qualifiers by June 22
- May 6, 2009 - Strong distance marks in a flu-disrupted schedule - Postponement of State Meet series in several states trims flow of top marks, but boys and girls distance events see several new additions. Mike Kennedy's latest list of US Youth-aged athletes who meet the IAAF and USATF standards.
- January 13, 2009 - The Top US Contenders - The US has won the last 4 World Youth Championships, beginning in 2001, and with the change in the selection procedure, there is every reason to believe the 2009 edition will be the best ever. Mike Kennedy presents some of the best bets for medals, if they meet the standards and qualify through the Trials.
- January 10, 2009 - Qualifying standards- The Sixth World Youth Championships is set for Bressanone, Italy in July, and for the first time the US will select its team with a qualifying meet. Qualifying standards have now been established for both meets.
- March 4, 2008 - Qualifying meet added in 2009 for World Youth eligibles - Addition of same-year qualifier, for the first time, enchances chances of getting best athletes to Italy
