Colby Lowe

Hello! My name is Colby Lowe and I am sixteen years old and I am a junior at Southlake Carroll High School. I have lived my entire life in Texas. I have three Labs, two black and one chocloate. Some of my favorite things in life are running, hanging out with my friends, eating pizza, playing golf and watching any kind of sports.

I started playing soccer at age four and when I turned five I added basketball and baseball to that list. I played all three of these sports competitively through my freshmen year in high school, but in my sophomore year I switched to only cross country and track. I really like cross country because you have your team, but you can set and achieve personal goals.

My freshmen year, I placed 8th at state in cross country, placed 30th at Nike Team Nationals, and was a regional qualifier in track for both the 3200 and 1600. My sophomore year, I placed 2nd in state in cross country, placed 9th at Footlocker South, and placed 29th at Footlocker Finals in San Diego. In track, I was the 5A State Champion in the 3200 and placed 3rd in the 1600.

This year, I was the 5A State Champion in cross country and our team placed 2nd in state and we are going to Nike Team Nationals.
