  • Lincoln junior Nathan Mathabane runs new US #1 3:53.28 1500, with Taylor Morgan (Central Catholic sr) second at 3:54.74
  • Kellie Schueler (Summit so) helps lead Summit to girls 5A title by sprinting her way to four state meet records: 12.01 100, 55.04 400, 24.54 200, and anchor on 3:55.11 4x400
  • National elite 1500m time of 4:33.79 for Taylor Wallace (Henley jr), who also anchored Henley's state record 3:56.83 4x400 to seal the girls' 4A team title.
  • Senior Eric Capelle helps lead Barlow HS to boys 6A title with three golds (14.51 110H, 38.89 300H, and leg on Barlow's 41.92 4x100 relay) and silver in 100 (10.72 to Jordan Polk's 10.63)

  • Marshfield sr Alison Worthen makes it a triple-gold weekend with HJ on Friday, state meet record 44.46 300H, 17-11.50w (+2.5) LJ, plus runner-up 15.07 in 100H to Liberty soph Olivia Ferrara's 14.78 state meet record
  • Alyssa O'Connor (Summit jr) adds two more state titles and two more meet records to her weekend collection with 4:42.90 1500m and leg on Summit's winning 3:55.11 4x400.
  • Long jump champion Derek Newsom (Silverton sr) with a mark of 23-08.75

  • Best relay battle of the day in the boys 4x400, where Jefferson's Darius Strickland never gave up after being passed in the homestretch and slipped past Churchill's Shane O'Connell for 3:24.41 to 3:24.42 win

  • US top 10 1500m for Elliott Jantzer (Phoenix jr) in 3:58.53
  • Eric Whalen (La Salle sr) wins javelin throw with a huge personal best of 192-08.00
  • Cottage Grove girls win 4x100 relay 49.52
  • La Salle's defending champ Laura Schmitt (jr) keeps her 400m title with a 57.39 time and takes 2nd in the 200m (25.61)
  • Braidy Bates (Pleasant Hill sr) runs 100m state meet record of 12.24
  • Henley sr Danny Staats clears 6-09 to win the HJ, then immediately rips 49.01 400 winner
