Varsity races are 5 x 2 miles over a 1 mile grass loop course. American Fork is at 4630 ft elevation. The 1 mile loop contains 4 hay jumps including a single hay jump at 400m, a double hay jump at 800m, a triple hay jump at 1200m and then the "Gauntlet" of 55 hay bales at 1450m
