Class A girls:  Laura Roesler (Fargo South) moved late to out-kick Melanie Funke (Minot), winning 14:36 to 14:38 over 4k.  Tarin Lachowitzer (Fargo South) was third at 14:42, with Alissa Mears (West Fargo 14:48) and Jordan Krahn (Fargo South 15:02) completing the top five.  HL #9 Bismarck's girls edged Fargo South 57-60 to win the team title, with HL #7 Minot third with 81. 

Class A boys:  HL #9 Bismarck romped to victory with 58 points, with Williston (86) and Jamestown (105) second and third.  Joash Osoro led Bismarck, winning easily over 5k with a time of 15:39.  Colin Parrish of Grand Forks Central was second at 15:57, edging Justin Slusser (Jamestown 15:59) and Devin Huizenga (Bismarck 16:01).  Joe Kemp (Williston, 16:04) was fifth.

Class B girls: Lindsay Anderson (Leeds-Maddock) won her fourth straight Class B state title, romping to a 14:24 4k.  Nicole Woinarowicz led Grafton to the team title, running 14:44 for second.  Tenielle Klubben (Griggs County Central 15:29), Chloe Tweten (Grafton 15:40) and Shanice Lambert (New Town 15:41) rounded out the top five.  Grafton scored 69 to win, with Bowman County (83) second and Griggs Country Central (91) third.

Class B boys:  Patrick Wolf repeated as Class B boys champion, running 16:05 to win, and led New Town to the team title.   Jeremy Grinnell (16:25) finished second to give New Town a 1-2 punch, with Devin Monson (Hatton-Northwood-Thompson) third at 16:31.  Justin Grinnell (New Town 16:33) was fourth and Justin Many Ribs (Ft. Berthold 16:34) fifth.  New Town dominated the race, scoring 39 to win.  Ft. Berthold was second with 85 and Lisbon third with 149.
