Olathe Lakes new cross country course was christened with the Olathe North Invitational Thursday, as SM South swept both varsity team titles. Andrew Stevens (SM South) took over from early leader Nathan Sloniker (SM North) to win in 17:31 to Sloniker's 17:33. Olathe South's Keli Russell, Sunflower League champion her freshman year, looks to return to championship form, dominating the race with a 16:24 4k. The course was extremely difficult, including a 440 yard climb from Olathe Lake to the course's finish loop.
