  • Darwin Price (Normandy) wins distance triple: 1:54.39/ 4:12.66 over Rick Elliot (Kickapoo, Springfield 4:12.86)/ 9:15.27 (Elliot 2nd at 9:16.22.
  • Lauren Borduin (Rock Bridge, Columbia) wins 2:12.92/ 4:56.68 double. Borduin edges Chelsea Chrisman (Eureka, 2:13.31) in the 800 and Aimee Bonte (Rockwood Summit, 4:57.73) in the 1600.

Class 2 Highlights
  • Linsday Vollmer (Penney) sets state records in the 300H (44.08) and LJ (18-7.25), is second in the 100H (14.61)
  • Deandre Vandevender (Trenton) wins the 2A Boy's HJ (6-6), LJ (22-2.5), and TJ (46-5) to lead Trenton to the team title. 
  • Precious Selmon (Crystal City) wins the 100 (12.43), 100H (14.16), and is second in the 300H (44.57) and LJ (18.5.75). Selmon's LJ was also longer than the previous state record.
  • Katie Evans (Putnam County) tosses the shot a big 46-7.25 to win by almost 4 feet, adds the 2A discus title to her shot win yesterday with a 140-1 toss.
  • Fred Taylor (Maplewood-Richmond Heights) wins the sprints in 10.81/ 22.04, and anchors the winning 4 x 200.
  • Lucas Manring (Stockton) scared the 2A state 800 record (1:54.90, Allen Scales, Brentwood, 1981) with a dominating win in 1:55.32.
  • Zach Layton (West Platte) kicks to a 4:25.26 2A 1600 win.
  • Brad Madison (South Harrison) tosses the 2A discus 170-7, with yesterday's shot champ Kyle Hoyt (Trenton) second at 161-5.
  • Principia (St. Louis) wins the 2A 4 x 800 in 9:49.94
  • Defending 2A state champ and record holder (12-0 last year) Shelby Franklin of Monroe City clears 11-6 to win the vault
  • Ethan Beaver leads three more College Heights (Joplin) team-mates into the top eight in the 2A Boy's 3200. Beaver wins in 9:37.80 over West Platte's Zach Layton (9:40.88). Caleb Hoover (9:42.26 3rd), Josh Carter (9:45.97 6th), and Alex Moore (9:59.36 8th) also score for College Heights
  • Principia (St. Louis) takes the 2A Boys 4 x 800 in 7:59.82, with College Heights second at 8:04.72.
  • Craig Robinson (Hayti) takes the 2A Boy's shot, throwing 55-3.25, with Kyle Holt (Trenton) second at 53.-5.5
  • Megan Kowalik (Wright City) runs off with the 2A girls 1600, winning in 5:11.95.
  • Dallis Bailey (Conway) runs 2:19.80 to edge Shelby Winkelman (Hermann, 2:19.87) in the 2A girls 800.

Class 1 Highlights
  • Kyler Hiatt (Worth County) wins the 1A hurdles in 15.46/ 40.56.
  • Chetara Watkins (Missouri School for the Deaf) wins the 1A sprints in 12.54/ 25.83.
  • Kaci Sargent (Meadville) wins the 1A 400 (59.76) and TJ (35-8.25).
  • Taylor Rivera (Miller) wins the 1A girls 800 (2:24.44, edging Amy Gangloff of Wellsville, 2:24.50) and 1600 (5:22.72).
