DyeStat XC Region Review MW

Summary of Midwest Top Ten, Week Ending Sept. 8, 2007

By Jeff Hollobaugh, Dyestat MW Regional Editor

With the season still very young, much sorting out remains to be done, as incoming ninth-graders are still emerging, especially on the girls side. Also, many squads have not put all their best runners together yet. Some, most notably the Fremont boys, have not yet hit a fast course. A number of big matchups next weekend will help clarify matters, as Michigan will see the Holly and MSU Invites, Illinois the Peoria ND Invitational, and Ohio the Galion Invitational.
