Division I Highlights
  • Milwaukee North senior Tasha Allen set 2 state records en route to three individual golds, winning the 100 in 12.05 (+0.1) after a state record 11.76 (+1.2) prelim, the 200 in 24.36 (+0.2), and the 400 in 57.22 after a state record 55.19 in the prelims.
  • Vincent senior Centrell Minter scored triple sprint gold with 10.86 (-0.1) 100,  21.82 (nwi) 200, and a leg on the winning 4x100 (43.18).
  • Arrowhead senior Tim Hucke won the 800 in 1:54.64 and ran a leg on the winning Arrowhead 4x400 (3:19.84) to help push his team to the top of the podium.  Arrowhead also won the 4x200 in 1:29.17
  • Port Washington senior Evan Ross ripped a 4:11.79 to win the 1600, and also ran a leg on the winning 4x800 (7:49.90).
  • Alex Brill (La Follette) turned in an impressive 9:02.43 to win the 3200.
  • Onalaska senior Katie Hill led a cascade of girls at 2:14 in the 800, winning in 2:14.28 over Lizzie Wendt (Germantown jr) 2:14.46 and Steph Stock (GB Preble sr) 2:14.84.
  • Strong HJ marks from Collin Taylor (Brakerfield East sr) 6-10.00 and Shelby Demos (Janesville Park sr) 5-06.00, while Marshfield senior Oladipo Fagbemi pulled a horizontal jumps double, taking the boys LJ in 23-01.00 and the TJ in 47-10.25, both NWI
