Division I Highlights
- Division I featured blazing sprint relays, highlighted by Reynoldsburg girls US#3 1:37.02 state record in the 4x200 and US#5 3:43.83 state record in the 4x200. Reynoldsburg was also a 46.78 runner-up to Withrow's 46.53 winner in the 4x100.
- Trotwood-Madison boys 4x400, featuring an all-underclassman lineup, ripped a US#4 3:13.32 state record to win that event.
- Other fast boys relay marks included Glenville's 1:26.38 4x200 win over Warren G. Harding's 1:26.98, and Central's 41.83 4x100 victory over Dunbar's 41.89/
- Magnificat girls 4x800 burned 9:09.42 to hold back Stow-Munroe Falls 9:11.71, while the Glenville boys 4x800 ripped a 7:42.58 to lead 3 other teams under 7:45 (Reynoldsburg 7:43.69, North Canton Hoover 7:44.52, Canton Glen Oak 7:44.92)
- Medina sophomore leaper Taylor Burke matched the stadium record with a 5-09.00 win in the HJ, defeating 5-08.00 jumpers Kalpana Beach (Westlake soph) and Abena Acheampong (Pickerington Central sr), who tied for second.
- Vandalia Butler senior Danny Neff had a stellar double, running a 4:10.57 1600 to beat Josh Tormasi's 4:11.65, and 1:51.36 800 to turn back Devon Snack (Brunswick jr) at 1:51.45 and Willie Brown (John Adams sr) at 1:51.91.
- More strong distance marks came from Mason soph Zach Wills (9:02.90 3200), Reynoldsburg soph Taneisha Cordell (2:10.79 800), Madeline Chambers (Magnificat jr) 4:49.18 1600, and Hannah Neczypor (North Royalton soph) 10:39.92 3200
- Blake Heriot (Lincoln jr) doubled 21.47 and 47.16 in the 200 and 400, and turned in a runner-up 10.98 100 to Deaver Williamson's (Warren G. Harding jr) 10.90 winner.
- Great hurdling, with a US#6 42.12 300H by Howland senior Nicole Pachol and a 37.56 by Hilliard Darby sr Jordan Rispress
- Canfield jr Dustin Brode led a battle at 62-feet among shot putters, with his 62-11.25, enough to beat Corey Linsley (Youngstown Boardman sr) at 62-09.00 and Cody Riffle (Toledo St. John's jr) 62-00.50.
- Other big field marks were put up by Rogers senior Erik Kynard (7-01.00 HJ), Olmsted Falls senior Katie Nageotte 12-08.00 PV, and Boardman senior Corey Linsley (191-02 DT, Cody Riffle 2nd at 191-01)
Division II Highlights
- Junior Chesna Sykes led her Bishop Hartley girls to a share of the team title (tied with Christian Academy at 55 pts) with wins in the 100 (12.05 -1.8), 200 (24.53 -1.1) and a leg on the state record-setting 4x100 (47.09).
- Warrensville Heights girls 4x400 also ripped a state record 3:50.08 for the win, beating their own mark from 2008.
- Zach Lathrop (Caledonia River Valley sr) ran a US Top-10 mark of 1:51.44 to win the 800
- Pemberville jr Justin Welch reached a US Top-10 mark of 196-01 for a big win in the DT.
- Ben Moody (Cortland Lakeview sr) doubled up on the straightaway, winning the 100 in 10.97 (-1.0) and the 110H in 14.19 (-1.1), after turning a 14.10 (+0.5) in prelims.
- Creston Norwayne senior Cody Miller burned a 47.48 400 win over Delta senior Korbin Smith (47.97)
- Strong distance marks came from Jarrod Eick (Alliance Marlington sr) 4:16.43 1600, Mallory Kreider (Ashtabula Edgewood jr) 10:57.73 3200, and Brad Liston (Circleville jr) 9:18.30 3200
- Other big field event marks included Sandusky Perkins jr Matthew Hoty 61-03.25 SP, Mansfield Ontario jr Kelly Barnhill 42-11.00 SP, and Gnadenhutten sr Kayla Caldwell 12-00.00 PV,
Division III Highlights
- Barnesville senior Stephanie Morgan doubled 4:50.93 for 1600 and a state record 2:09.77 for 800
- D.J. Duke (Hannibal River sr) launched a US#5 68-08.25 to win the SP by 10 feet
- Candace Longino-Thomas had a huge day in leading her Gilmour Academy girls to the team title. She won the 100 in 12.05 (+0.6) after hitting 11.86 in the prelims, took the 200 in 24.42 (+1.0), and ran legs on the state record-setting 4x100 (48.70) and 4x200 (1:41.31, with Catholic Central 2nd at 1:42.07) relays. Gilmour Academy also won the 4x400 in 3:57.19.
- Elmore Woodmore senior Erin Pendleton defended her state discus title with a throw of 160-00.
- Liberty-Benton junior Seth Butler hit 1:52.86 to win the 800
- Katherine Jamieson (Ottawa Hills jr) blazed a state record 43.18 for the 300H win
- Other strong field marks came from Jakob Leon (Crestview sr) 6-10.00 HJ, Laura Gehret (Anna sr) 5-07.00 HJ, and Christine Borchers (Versailles sr) 44-00.50 SP
