In Texas, schools are limited to 8 meets prior to Districts, so many teams have an open week or two. With District looming next Thursday, SO#2/US#23 The Woodlands hit the track for its annual Red vs Green 3200-meter intersquad time trial.
With great weather (68 degrees, calm) and spirited competition under the lights between the equally-divided squads dressed and painted in the two school colors, the results were superb with 13 sub 10:00 efforts and one oh-so-close.
