5A boys lead pack, 800 meters into the race. Evan Hibbs ended up 3rd (partial in white, far left), Reed Connor 2nd (#897, red) and Carl Stones 1st (#824, white, tallest). Stones and Connor would soon break away, and split 4:51 and 10:00 running together.
