Tyler Lee TX sr Tyler Fleet whirled a 178-1 winner, ahead of Ardmore OK jr Geoffrey Tabor’s 174-9.

Tabor is the US#1 returnee at 200-5 (#2 all-time US soph), and has thrown 194-6 this year.

• It feels great to win.  To come out here with all the great competition and win is very rewarding.
• I got my best throw in the final round.  I already had the lead, but it was nice to get it.
• The biggest problem with the weather was being able to feel my fingers so I could feel if the discus was coming off right.

Hayes is the US#4 returnee at 158-2, with a 162-10 PR from 2005 World Youth Championship in Morocco.

Owasso sr Kylie Spurgeon, the US#2 returnee at 160-4, couldn’t find her groove in the harsh weather conditions.
