Highlights 3A/4A Boys
- Glen Burnie jr Justin Murdock blazed 6.30 in his semi, then a US#1 6.21 in the final of the 55. A fine runner-up for Eleanor Roosevelt soph Devon Smith in 6.31.
- Westlake sr Corryl Boyd blazes 34.65 300, then is nipped in incredible 3-way finish as his 1:05.45 is just short of E.R. duo of Kelli Thibou (1:05.41) and Adrian Browne (1:05.43).
- Westlake rolls to state record in 4x200 with 1:29.61
- State record 1:56.94 800 for CH Flowers sr Jerod Franklin
3A/4A Girls - Western sr Letecia Wright zips 39.70/7.08 300/55 double, topping ER's Takecia Jameson (39.88) in 300.
- Eleanor Roosevelt sr Marika Walker gets a distance double, 5:00.59 1600 / 10:54.38 3200.
- Another double for Churchill sr Audrey Gariepy-Bogui, who wins HJ in 5-8 and nips Westlake jr Christina Manning in 55H.
- Eleanor Roosevelt sr Tameka Jameson rolls to 500 win 1:15.63 over Walt Whitman jr Leslie Morrison 1:17.50.
- Jameson's teammate jr Tasha Stanley gets an even tougher battle from Morrison in the 800, but wins 2:15.54-2:15.56.
- Roosevelt takes the shorter relays easily, 4x200 in 1:41.72 and 4x400 in 3:52.18
1A/2A
- Digital Harbor tops Poolesville, 50-43 for girls title, with victories in two shorter relays.
- Baltimore Polytechnic over LIberty, 52-44, for boys championship, with 1-2 in 500 and wins in the two longer relays.
- N Hagerstown sr Jarell Hasan 35.45 300
- Balt Poly sr Jamin Gallman 1:06.12 in 500 leads 1-2
2A/3A - Aberdeen sr Paris Williams 1:14.58 500 / 40.79 300 double win
