Girls
- Five SE ranked teams, headed by #1 Midlothian VA, raced here, as well as five SE bubble teams. The field included #1 Midlothian, VA; #3 Tatnall, DE; #4 Roosevelt, MD; #8 Oak Ridge, TN and #9 Brentsville, VA, plus bubble teams Winston Churchill, MD; Blacksburg, VA; Maggie Walker, VA; Oakton, VA and Mauldin, SC.
- Midlothian lived up to their No.1 ranking, showing why they deserve that spot by easily beating a loaded field in the Invitational Division on the Maymont Park course, with 66 points to Roosevelt's 108. The fairly hilly course has a big rise about 800 to 900 meters from the finish line (mile two is flat). Temperature was 78 degrees.
- Except for ninth place West Springfield, VA, the top 11 (of 15 teams in the Inv. Div.) were SE Ranked teams and Bubble teams.
- Individually, Midlo's #1, Kat Lautenheiser, beat an evenly matched group at the top, outrunning Roosevelt #1 Dominique Lockhart, 18:41-18:47
