Finished second to SE No. 8 Brentsville, 77-102, in the 41-team A race of the Octoberfest Inv. in The Plains, VA. Had two of the top six, but then ran 20th, 36th and 43rd and averaged 16:19 per runner to Brentsville’s 16:20. Rounding out the top five: SE Bubble team Mountain View (174, 16:35); Robinson (192, 16:49) and Woodson (236, 16:55).
Coach says they sat out No. 3 runner Ryan Priovolos to rest his ankle, but that it wouldn’t have made a difference in the final team score. Also, No. 6 runner Kris Lasko was left out of the meet results (His name and time are listed below, though).

Finished second at 14-team Cobb County Championships to Bubble team Walton and was missing David Pate (No. 2 or 3 man) because of illness. The course was new and relativily flat with some uneven but firm, footing and many 90 to 180 degree turns.
Walton scored 32 points and averaged 16:41 per runner. Lassiter was second with 60 points (16:54 average). Rounding out the top five: Marietta (74, 17:11 average); Pope (152, 18:00) and Kennesaw Mountain (163, 18:08).

The course was sloppy after it rained all night and the air was humid, but race time was 7:50 a.m. so the sun was not as intense.
