400 meter hurdles, discus throw and the first day of decathlon/heptathlon competition were featured Friday at Icahn Stadium.
In the 400m hurdles, meet and stadium records were set by Leslie Njoku, Academic HS NJ, at 62.21 and Stephen McLean, Transit Tech NY, at 54.84. Both won by large margins.
Discus throws were won by Anthony Minter, Mount St. Michael NY 161-9 and Nina Renker, Sacred Heart NY 112-2.
Dylan Dombrowski, Archbishop Molloy NY, led the decathlon after day 1.
