  • Class A - Bishop Hendricken boys 210 over Woonsocket 93; LaSalle Acad. girls 156 over North Kingstown 80
  • Class B - Barrington boys 131 over South Kingstown 121; South Kingstown girls 176 over Barrington 129
  • Class C - Westerly boys 148 over Ponaganset 98; Smithfield girls 205.25 over East Greenwich 132
  • Class D - East Greenwich boys 146 over Classical 133 (boys only)

State Champs Highlights
  • Westerly sr Andrew Springer almost single-handedly led the Westerly boys to the title.  He ran a 1:55 split on his team's winning 4x800 relay (state record 7:55.05), and won the 1500 (record 3:54.02), 800 (1:56.26), and 3000 (record 8:29.35).  He scored 30 of his team's 69 and had a hand in 10 more.  Westerly also got a shot win from Mike Intrieri (53-03.50)
  • South Kingstown racked up 104 points from a variety of sources to win the girls meet. They ruled the jumps, with Candace Hazard scoring a 17-10.50 LJ and 37-02 TJ (both nwi) double, twins Amanda and Jessica Graham going 1-2 in the PV, and Shannon Meehan taking the HJ (5-05).  Amanda Norman added 18 points in the sprints and South Kingstown scored in every relay
  • Hope sr Jasmine Morrow swept the 400 (56.98) and 200 (25.23, +1.9w), and was part of the state record 47.90 4x100 and 3:59.77 4x400 wins
  • The LaSalle girls broke the meet record in the 4x800, running 9:15.67
  • The Hope girls set a state record 47.90 in the 4x100
  • Coventry sr Eryn Wheeler doubled the 1500 (4:36.74) and 800 (2:15.97)
  • East Providence sr Erin Carmone took the 3k in 10:12.55
  • Classical's Josh Faboyede doubled the hammer (204-08) and discus (158-10)
  • LaSalle sr Emily Barrett doubled the 100H (15.06w, +2.4) and 300H (44.79)
  • Mt. Pleasant sr Xavier Rodriguez and West Warwick sr Kenny Oliveri had two strong battles in the 400 and 200, with Oliveri winning the 400 (48.83-49.71) and Rodriguez the 200 (22.27-22.32, +1.4w)
