Sean Pohorence split 4:25.8 leading off the first-place 4x1,600 relay and clocked 1:55.8 – a personal best by five seconds – to lead off the victorious 4x800-meter relay while pacing Morris Hills to its first team title in three years, 50-40 over Randolph.

In the javelin, Drugac (a meet-best 185-2), Aaron Cronk (160-0) and John Proctor (154-0) combined for 499-2, wiping out the county record of 482-9 set by Delbarton in 2002.
Joelle Amaral anchored the winning 4x1,600 and distance medley relays and spurred Randolph to the girls title, one year after it lost to Clifton by a single point.
Molly Higgins (5:16.9), Tori Kiss (5:33.9), Becky Snelson (5:50.5) and Amaral (5:13) won the 4x1,600 in 21:54.26. Kiss (3:56.7 for 1,200), Anna Conway (55.6 for 400), Snelson (2:33.9 for 800) and Amaral (5:15.5 for 1,600) won the distance medley in 12:51.92.
The Randolph girls scored 60 points to hold off a game Morristown squad, which won two track events and two in the field to finish with 52.
Morristown sophomore Nick Vena has the top throws of the day in the shot put with a 67-5 and discus with a 166-5..
Seton Hall Prep senior Clayton Parros ran a 46.9 third leg on the 4x400 and a 20.8 in the 4x200.
