Class L Highlights
  • Three low placers (2nd, 3rd, 4th) within 11 seconds of each other, provide the point cushion NE #8 Bishop Guertin boys need to take state title.
  • Cory Sinotte (Manchester Central) battles the Bishop Guertin trio and holds on for the 15:42 win
  • Anne Twombly (18:46) and Kelsey Smith (18:56) give Exeter girls a 1-2 finish, but it is Manchester Central’s overall depth that results in a state team title
Class I Highlights
  • Hanover sweeps team and individual crowns.  The girls team, currently NE #8, gets meet's best team time in posting a 70 point victory.  The boys win by 42 over Coe-Brown
  • Aaron Watanabe (15:51) and Heidi Caldwell (18:32) also give Hanover both individual titlists.
Class M&S Highlights
  • A tight pack of 11th, 13th,14th, and 15th place runners give Belmont boys the state title over Newmarket.
  • Eric Malnati (Fall Mountain) and Job Christiansen (Mascenic Regional) battle as the pair break away from the field by over a minute, with Malnati pulling away for a 15:34, 20-second win.
  • Hopkinton and Fall Mountain girls are tied after 4 runners have finished, and it would be up to Hopkinton’s 5th runner, Carolyn Maynard’s, finish to assure the state title.
  • Jacy Christiansen did her brother one better, taking the girls individual gold by 52 seconds with a time of 19:02.
